John Paul Lam

Based in Kuala Lumpur, John Paul Lam started his career in public relations and advertising with some of the top advertising agencies in the country. During this time, John Paul led and managed the branding activities of some of Malaysia’s most beloved brands, most notably; LVMH’s Moët Hennessy Diageo Malaysia, BMW Group Malaysia and British American Tobacco. With a knack in all things public relations, brand marketing, innovative-ideation, and creative-presentation, John Paul realized his skills were better suited in a more challenging but rewarding industry – real estate.

John Paul joined the Ridgewell Group in late-2017 and was mentored under the watchful eye of Kenneth Huee, the founder of Ridgewell Group. In three short years, John Paul quickly rose to the rank of Business Development and Marketing Manager. In his role as Business Development, John Paul is in charge of the identification of new potential partnerships with developers, acquisition of new projects and developments, maintaining current work-relationship with developers and as well as training new associates. In his role as the agency’s Marketing Manager, John Paul is in charge of all areas of improving the agency’s image through the development of fresh, new and exciting branding and advertisement exercises across all platforms. This role also includes; market planning for maximizing profits and market share, support sales and lead generation efforts, product & services management, market-information analysis, promotions and sales.

In his personal capacity, John Paul has led, supervised and closed several notable residential transactions worth several millions of dollars in the Klang Valley. Presently, John Paul has gone on to develop, market and oversee operations of the company’s first Property Management arm called, The Home Makers.
